Okay, 1.5b4; oops!

Somehow, a critical comma slipped out of 1.5b3 which prevented non-.dmgs from being extracted properly. Please update to 1.5b4 to fix that problem.

    Extracting non-dmgs is good, but 1.5b4 seems to be unable to extract dmgs…

    I have a dmg that 1.5b2 is able to extract just fine, but 1.5b4 fails with the same file, saying “Sparkle Error: An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.”

    Any ideas how to debug this?

    Actually I was wrong… I can’t seem to duplicate having that dmg working in 1.5b2.

    But I’m still left wondering how I can figure out what’s wrong with my configuration.

    These directions do not work for non-app bundles, as the updater you add to the nib will be the sharedUpdater for the application bundle
